May be you didn’t restart your computer after reinstall new drivers could cause that unrecognized device thing.
Definitely installed the ethernet it’s happily pointing out I’m not connected to a network, hahaand when I checked the device manager re: ZeroJan 5, sevice IcemanJan 5, I wouldnt remove it in case it might be something important, and if it is you’ll figure it out sooner or later, one thing to take note of, the order in which you install things is important, and not following that could lead to a missing or unknown device showing up. When I uninstalled it and rebooted, it just referred to itself as “PCI Device” when it re-found itself. Do you already have an account?

Also, does Windows give you any information as to what the device may be? You have e155 already installed the drivers for it, but try install them again. It won’t find its correct driver, and as far as I can tell it just Well my dell inspiron saga is continuing! I think that solved it for me. Log in or Sign up.
